NO! We have not left yet. The scheduled date is tomorrow! We did start the blog a bit early so there haven't been any updates for awhile.
There is a cold front passing thru New England today, it was supposed to go by last night. The forecast for tomorrow isn't looking as good as it did a couple days ago. This trip is going to be done in 'good' weather (whatever that means) so we may be starting tomorrow or maybe Thursday. We'll have to see how the forecast looks tonight and tomorrow morning.
The bags are almost packed. The fridge is empty. The plane is ready to go.
After the bags are packed we will weigh them so we can do a 'weight and balance' check of the plane. We are pretty sure that we will not be over weight (the plane I mean) but the center of gravity needs to also be balanced. So we'll be checking that out.
The first stop is going to be Bar Harbor Maine. Stay tuned.
